Unwavering Faith

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11;1

I’ve had the ultimate pleasure of being around people who have shown their strong faith walk and were unapologetic. To see their countenance of peace and tranquility from head to toe is something to behold. It’s as if there was an extraordinary gift package given out and you missed it. When someone has true peace, nothing can turn them away and it’s something to be marveled, outside looking in.

One particular person I knew very well never had a harsh or cross word even when illness took over their entire being, which ultimately caused their passing. This individual would provide words of encouragement for those around and offered to pray for others, not having any selfish thoughts. Now, I’m just speechless and baffled. Who could be this caring during a time of illness? To be a blessing to others and care for their wellbeing. Placing their needs over your very own.

Someone with a strong faith walk in Christ understands with their whole heart that God is their all in all and NOTHING will separate them from Christ. I will say it again and again, prayer changes things. For me, this means every aspect of life is based on prayer. From the smallest to the largest detail. Nothing is impossible for God. This person will have ‘mustard seed faith’. Unwavering faith until the end. Without faith, it’s impossible to please Him … Hebrews 11;6

Always a work in progress. I strive to surround myself with those who will keep me accountable, pray with me, pray for me and will guide me with no strings attached. If you can be that one person facing impossible odds with unwavering faith, a smile on your face providing encouragement to others, could you? What would others say about your faith walk? To be honest, what would you say about your faith walk?

I will truly miss this beautiful person. Rest now beautiful.

Be Kept.
